Solar Farm Hearing Postponement Request

The Sandoval County Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a hearing on December 10 @ 4:30 PM to approve or deny PCR Energy’s request to change the zoning of the area shown in the photo above from Residential/Agricultural District (RRA) to Special Use (SU) for installation of a 5.5 square mile solar farm.

Organizations including EMPAC, Turquoise Trail Regional Alliance, San Pedro Creek Estates, and others have requested the Dec 10 meeting be postponed to give the East Mountain residents more time to study the PCR technical documents plus additional reasons listed in the attached letter: MS Word or PDF.
