Campbell Ranch Hearing 5/15/2025 at 6PM – Rally for Responsibility, Not Irresponsibility.

Posted on May 7, 2025

Wow!

We are still talking about March 6, when the Edgewood Town Commission held a special meeting, at an inconvenient time of day for most people (2:00 PM). And we all remember how….

YOU packed the chambers and the overflow room!
YOU showed up to help protect what matters!
YOU wrote letters to the Commissioners showing your opposition to the irresponsible development of Campbell Ranch!

At that meeting, the Commissioners voted unanimously to return the Campbell Ranch Minor Subdivision Application to the Planning and Zoning Commission for rework because your presence, testimonies, letters, and information made them realize that the Town of Edgewood is not fully prepared to implement, maintain, and sustain a project like Campbell Ranch.

THANK YOU –  Your support made a HUGE impact.

What’s next – Campbell Ranch will resubmit their minor subdivision application again – with slight modifications – at the next Edgewood Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, scheduled for Thursday, May 15, at 6:00 PM. During this meeting, the Edgewood P&Z Commission will conduct a quasi-judicial hearing regarding the Campbell Ranch Farming application. To ensure seating, we recommend you arrive no later than 5:30 PM. We understand that individuals who want to speak will be given one minute, so have your succinct and powerful narrative ready!

We also expect to testimony to be given by our New Mexico State Senator and House Representative, both of which will reiterate Bernalillo County’s continued opposition to this project.

We realize that not everyone can attend, so we would like to ask you to share this information with friends, neighbors, colleagues, and others. The more people who know, the more who will show!
