REMANDED: Campbell Ranch Sub-Division Application

Posted on March 9, 2025
Hello, EMPAC Supporters!
We just wanted to give you a quick update on both of our East Mountain fights – and the fight continues for both!

REMANDED:  Campbell Ranch Sub-Division
As you may know, the recent special meeting of the Town of Edgewood Commissioners regarding the Campbell Ranch Village 2 Sub-Division resulted in the application being remanded (returned) to the Town’s Planning and Zoning Commission for further review and consideration. We view this as good news, and it certainly continues to delay Campbell Farming Corporation’s plans.

We applaud the Commissioners for acknowledging there is much due diligence required on the Town’s behalf to be able to make a decision based on facts and integrity regarding Campbell Ranch.

APPROVED:  PCR Solar Plant at Diamond Tail Ranch
Also, the hearing in Sandoval County regarding PCR Energy’s proposed Diamond Tail solar facility was approved on February 18th, which is not the best outcome – but it’s not over yet!!

As you can imagine, we’re taking a short break after these events and will soon regroup to determine our strategies and actions for each one.

We are in awe of the incredible support from our East Mountains communities. Your voices and presence have been immensely important, and they will continue to be as we move forward.

Since these issues aren’t resolved yet, we will still need your assistance. We request that you share information with others and consider donating to help cover the costs associated with legal counsel and educational/informational supplies. Your donation is entirely tax-deductible and 1000000% appreciated.

Stay tuned for more information as we have it available.
