NOTICE OF DECISION FROM Edgewood Commissioners JULY 24 HEARING

Posted on August 8, 2025
We have exciting news!

The Town of Edgewood Commission has issued its Notice of Decision for the July 24, 2025, hearing of our appeal. This marks the final step in ratifying the Commission’s unanimous vote to overturn the (May) decision of the Town’s Planning and Zoning Commission and ultimately deny Campbell’s application for subdividing Campbell Ranch. (Please see link)

Although we have not thoroughly analyzed its content, we are very pleased that the Commission’s findings align with the arguments we have been making for years. Again, we commend those of you who took the time to write letters, make telephone calls, show up at hearings, and speak up. All of the hard work & commitment have made a positive difference for the communities in the East Mountains!

As always, we will continue to be vigilant regarding any actions Campbell Farming Corporation may take and keep you informed. Our recent victory was significant and belongs to all of us, but it was not inexpensive. PLEASE consider donating to our all-volunteer non-profit organization to help cover expenses associated with this lengthy legal battle.

Thank you
